Dr. Douglas K. DePiero is a native of Beverly, Massachusetts. He began his career as an engineer, first for NASA, and then in the disk processing industry in Silicon Valley. Dr. Depiero also holds a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. He lives with his wife, two daughters, and son, in Swampscott along with their 2 dogs, 3 cats, fish and pet hermit crabs.

At Northeast Veterinary we strive to provide not only for the physical needs of pets, but for their emotional comfort as well. Appointments are scheduled so that adequate time is given, not only for proper diagnosis and treatment, but so that we may get to know your pet personally.

At Northeast Veterinary Hospital we are truly committed to the health and well-being of our companion animal friends. We understand the unique and special bond humans have with their pets and know, that for many of us, these relationships can be just as strong and complex as our human relationships.

All of our compassionate staff members are focused on providing professional and personalized care to meet you and your pet's specific needs. We also are involved in the community by providing our expert services and care at minimal cost working with local area shelters.
